For this procedure you will be awake under local anesthesia! Using a specially formulated tumescent lidocaine solution, we are able to avoid the use of general anesthesia while keeping the patient comfortable and numb.
This eliminates the well-known risks associated with anesthesia, and allows us to give our patients gorgeous curves without worry! We understand many patients fear the risks that can naturally follow general anesthesia. Luckily, the Restore team will choose some great music and tend to you entirely through your awake procedure!
RECOVERY TIMELINE
Recovery will differ between patients, but most patients can expect the following:
● Swelling post operation (this will diminish through the healing period)
● Soreness in the cheeks where the treatment site was, but pain medication will be discussed with the patient during the consultation to ensure safe healing
● Final results may take a couple months to show as the swelling goes down. As any surgical procedure, this will not be immediate for a final result, but even after the patient leaves the office, they will feel and see a difference
